  1. This is disk 308 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. FReq        A general purpose file requester, which was designed to be
  6.         easy to use and fast, with a built-in ARexx port allowing
  7.         you to use it from ARexx scripts or applications with ARexx
  8.         ports.  Version 1.0, binary only.
  9.         Author:  Jeffrey D. Wahaus

  11. ScreenShare    A library and support programs that enable applications
  12.         to open up windows on other applications' custom screens.
  13.         For example, your editor may want to open a window on
  14.         your terminal emulator's screen so you can compose a
  15.         message while still being able to see the contents of
  16.         the terminal's screen.  Both applications must cooperate
  17.         for the screen sharing to work.  This is version 1.21,
  18.         an update to version 1.2 on disk 246.  Includes source
  19.         for interface portions.

  22. StarBlanker    A screen blanker that replaces your display with a randomly
  23.         chosen animated starfield.  Version 1.00, includes source
  24.         in Modula-2.

  27. Vlt        VLT is both a VT100 emulator and a Tektronix (4014 plus
  28.         subset of 4105) emulator, currently in use at SLAC
  29.         (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center).  Although the VT100
  30.         part was originally based on Dave Wecker et al.'s VT100,
  31.         many enhancements were made.  Features include use of ARP,
  32.         an ARexx port, XMODEM 1K/CRC and Kermit protocols, support
  33.         for additional serial ports, external file transfer protocols
  34.         (XPR), a "chat" mode, and scrollback/review/history buffer.
  35.         It comes in two versions, one with Tektronix emulation, and
  36.         one without.  The Tektronix emulation allows saving IFF files,
  37.         PostScript files, and printing bitmaps to the printer.  This
  38.         is version 4.428, an update to version 4.226 on disk 257.
  39.         The major change for this update is a rewrite of the
  40.         Tektronix emulation to support almost all of the Tektronix
  41.         4105 escape sequences.  Binary only.
